Damien Falato, CPA is a tax and accounting firm in northern New Jersey.  Located in Fairlawn New Jersey, we are conveniently located to service clients throughout Bergen, Essex, Passaic, Sussex and Warren Counties.  We provide traditional accounting services, tax planning and compliance, and business consulting, servicing businesses, individuals and not-for-profit entities.


Philosophy
Our philosophy places top priority on servicing our clients' specific needs.  Every client is different and each one has their own specific needs.  To that end, we listen to your concerns, devise a plan of services that best fits your specific situation, and then work with you to implement a plan that both works for your business' information needs and minimizes your tax burden.

We believe your CPA isn't someone that should work with you like a magician.  A CPA should work with their client, tell them what's going on, explain the reason some options are taken rather than others, and explain why things have changed when they do.  We believe a CPA should keep their client abreast of relevant changes in the tax code and plan with them to minimize their savings.  A CPA shouldn't sit down at the end of the year and take credit for finding happenstance savings at the last minute, but should work with their client to develop an optimal situation in advance.
